If you guys are looking for a good christmas gift for him you should take a look at this orthopedic doggie bed its the perfect pet gift. Its one of those memory foam pet beds, but for like $100 cheaper then what we saw at our local petstore at least. They say they're really good especially for older and larger dogs, it takes off some of the stress on their old joints. My boyfriend and I just picked one up for our Husky Nook, and he loafs on it half of the day haha! Take care and I hope you and Porter have a Happy Holiday :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1375522729864725399.post-47643239597846963282011-07-18T19:42:23.144-04:002011-07-18T19:42:23.144-04:00Ahh I absolutely love these! Yes, its white and ugly. If you must, you could tea stain it. But it will protect the grass seed from birds, hold it in place against rains, and help keep it moist between waterings. The new grass will grow right through the cheesecloth, which will biodegrade and disappear into the soil.

A thin layer of compost over the entire lawn will help the lawn, as often new construction soils are very compacted with thin topsoil.
